Consultation and discovery session
Purpose: align on outcomes before we touch design.
Business goals: enquiries, consultations booked, specification requests, commercial leads, residential leads.
Audience mapping: homeowners, architects, interior designers, contractors, project managers (mirroring how Firelight collaborates across stakeholders).
Service clarity: confirm the exact “offer ladder” (e.g., two-hour consultation vs full design service including plans/spec/photometrics).
Brand tone: premium, calm, technical confidence—“beautiful + practical + sustainable” without sounding corporate.
Success metrics: enquiry rate, time on page, project page engagement, SEO visibility.
Deliverable: a one-page project brief + agreed priorities.

Website fact find and audit
Purpose: understand what’s working now, what’s missing, and what needs simplifying.
Content inventory: services, residential, commercial, about, contact, project pages, FAQs.
User journey review: how quickly can someone:
Understand Firelight’s offer
Trust the team
See relevant work
Take the next step (call / email / form)
SEO baseline:
Page titles + meta descriptions
Internal linking structure (services → relevant projects → enquiry)
Location relevance (Altrincham / Greater Manchester)
Schema opportunities (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ)
Competitor scan: what similar lighting design firms lead with (language, proof, imagery, UX patterns).
Deliverable: audit notes + recommended sitemap + SEO opportunity list.

Positioning and messaging framework
Purpose: make the copy sound like Firelight at its best — clear, premium, and technically credible.
Core message: “Lighting that enhances form + function” / “architectural lighting design” as the headline theme.
Proof points: years of experience, project types, consultation options, sustainability stance.
Page-by-page copy plan: what each page must communicate in the first 10 seconds.
Deliverable: copy outline + wireframe-level copy blocks.

Shoot strategy (photos + video) tied to the website build
Purpose: Produce visuals that position a 'credible & luxury' brand and encourage a CTA
We plan shoots around three asset types:
A) Proof imagery (portfolio-led)
Hero-level lifestyle shots (wide, balanced, architectural)
Detail shots (fixtures, finishes, light falloff, textures)
B) Trust imagery (people + process)
Consultations in action (on-site / remote feel)
Collaboration moments with architects/contractors (staged if needed)
Specification documents, plans, sample boards (styled)
C) Motion assets (short, modular video)
Talking-head snippets answering FAQs (clean and credible)
quick-cut reels for social (project reveal, detail montage, “lighting changes everything” style)
Deliverable: shot list + call sheet + asset checklist aligned to each page section.

Production day (photo + video shoot)
Purpose: capture a library of content for both social and web.
Lighting-first approach: We shoot to show control of light in the space (the product is the ambience).
Repeatable angles: So projects look consistent across the site.
Behind-the-scenes capture: Imagery and video provided showing 'the making of'
Social (9:16, punchier, caption-ready)
Case studies (16x9 60–90 sec “project story”)
Deliverable: 16x9 imagery and a blend of 9x16/16x9 video.

Website design and build
Purpose: combine brand, UX, and performance into a site that converts.
UI design: clean typography, big imagery, confident hierarchy.
Page templates: services + project case study templates so the site can grow.
Technical SEO setup: fast load, image optimisation, structured headings, internal linking, FAQ blocks where relevant.
Copy integration: keep language consistent with Firelight’s real service delivery (consultation → design → plans/spec → commissioning).
Deliverable: completed site ready for testing.

QA, launch, and refinement loop
Purpose: launch clean, then improve with real data.
Cross-device checks + form testing
Basic analytics + conversion tracking setup
Bug Fixing
Deliverable: launch checklist + post-launch improvement sprint plan.

Social content planning (built from the same shoot + the same strategy)
Built around what Firelight already does and what clients need reassurance on:
Project proof (residential + commercial)
Design thinking (why the lighting works)
Process clarity (consultation → spec → delivery)
Sustainability + efficiency (energy-aware choices)
Client education (FAQs, myths, mistakes to avoid)
